How THE REFERRAL PROGRAM Works & How You Get Paid
Step 1. Refer a Peer
Here’s how to refer someone:
Start a 3-way group chat with 1. you, and 2. us and 3. the person(s) you’re referring, on either
1. WhatsApp, 2. iMessage, 3. Email, or 4. Instagram (but we prefer WhatsApp).
Step 2. Your Peer Books a Time
After your referral completes their scheduled booking, you’ll get paid. Now it’s up to you to choose how you want to be paid.
Step 3. Choose How You Get Paid
We can either pay you via Amazon Gift Card, or by double the value of store credit. Store credits always receive double the referral value. For example, if you are due a $125.00 CAD referral payout, you may choose to trade it up for a credit of $250.00 worth of photography services with us. You can re-sell this to a peer to double your commission.
Want to Double Your Commissions?
You are actually allowed to re-sell your store credit to someone else, if desired. This way if you send enough referrals our way and build up enough store credit, you can actually make double the money than the listed percentages below by simply re-selling time to others as an affiliate vendor!

Referral Payout Structure
Here’s the payout structure based on the total booking value of the person you refer.
You can make up to $250.00 per referral (in store credit). At minimum, for each referral you send us, you will be paid a $20.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card.
How to make double
If you re-sell your studio credit, you can make double what you would otherwise make via a cash payout.
Tiered Referral Rates
Note that this applies to the pre-tax total booking value.
$0 - $300 Total Booking Value
$20.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card or $40.00 worth of studio time (you may resell this studio time credit)
$300-$400 Total Booking Value
$30.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card or $60.00 worth of studio time (you may resell this studio time credit)
$400-$500 Total Booking Value
$40.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card or $80.00 worth of studio time (you may resell this studio time credit)
$500-$750 Total Booking Value
$50.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card or $100.00 worth of studio time (you may resell this studio time credit)
$750-$1,000 Total Booking Value
$80.00 CAD Amazon Gift Card or $160.00 worth of studio time (you may resell this studio time credit)
$1,000+ Total Booking Value

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS (FAQ)
Who doesn’t count as a referral? Existing bookings don’t count, and for referrals to count they must be processed by following the steps above.
When do I get paid? After your referral completes their booking and has paid for their service in full. Please make sure to follow up with us, since although we rarely forget, our affiliate program is a manual process which means it’s a possibility we may forget.
Can anyone earn a commission? Yes. You just have to refer clients to us as per the above instructions to earn your commission.
Do the clients I refer get a discount as well? Yes. They qualify for a special family and friends price, but that cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions so they can only choose one.
Restrictions on Referral Payouts
Payouts may need to be revised if the person you’ve referred has in any way:
not paid in full for their appointment, or has an outstanding unpaid balance
not paid for any additional extras they may have used during the course of their appointment
received, or has an unresolved complaint
damaged anything inside our space
committed a crime inside our space
negotiated a coupon discount, or a special, custom, or bulk rate which is lower than the rates shown HERE
Or if you’ve:
made the referral after the person has already scheduled their appointment
not made the referral as per the steps outlined above
Please, refer only people you trust to treat the space with care and respect. If reasonable, new restrictions may be added without prior notice.
